We started Unit 2 this week.  It is entitled "Fun and Games".  Students will be working on extending and applying their knowledge of Number Theory.  I have added the parent letter and concept map for your review.  Students have a copy of them in their math section of their binders.  We will be working on this unit for 3 weeks.

Remember to send a nutritious snack to school with your 6th grader.  Since our lunch is later in the day, we are allowing them to eat a nutritious snack at the beginning of 4th period.

Lockers have been assigned and students are learning how to open them independently.  Sixth Grade students should not share their locker combinations with no other student in the school.

Students must get their agenda signed every night.  Homeroom teachers will check for parent/guardian signatures every Friday.

I am still in need of some wish list items:  Expo Dry Erase Markers, Colored Printer Paper, and Lysol Spray.
